Draft subscription terms

This is a founder working draft only. It deliberately leaves the final legal entity, pricing, liability wording and jurisdiction review unresolved.

Service scope

Dealer Ledger is intended to help motor dealers keep vehicle-centred financial and compliance records, store supporting documents, prepare working forms and produce exports. It does not replace independent legal, tax or accounting advice.

Customer responsibility

The customer remains responsible for the accuracy of every record, verifying automatically returned vehicle data, using current official forms, keeping required original documents and meeting licensing and statutory obligations.

Subscriptions

Proposed plans are monthly in Australian dollars with stated user and vehicle limits. Billing, trial conversion, cancellation, refunds and GST treatment must be finalised before payments are enabled.

Availability and backups

The service should use reasonable measures to protect availability and data. Customers should retain independent exports and backups, particularly while the product is in early access.

Suspension and termination

Final terms should address non-payment, misuse, security incidents, data export before closure, legally required retention and a reasonable wind-down process.
